Trummer & Annina Mossoni – TOURBO music

Trummer & Annina Mossoni

Musikalische Lesung mit Soundtrack

St. Brooklyn, Trummer's debut novel, tells the story of a Swiss man who sets out to find a home for his music in New York – and discovers a completely new reality. It is a novel about the hardships and joys of a life dedicated to music, about love, belonging, and alienation, about authenticity, disillusionment, and resilience.

A gripping story, but also a reflection: the shift in perspective from the sheltered confines of Switzerland. The challenge of translating insights into real life. And, not least, a contemplation of the nature of North America and its cultural and social impact on us.

Live on stage The book comes with its own soundtrack: the protagonist's songs, but also songs that form the backdrop to the story. From the folk revolution of the 1960s to its descendants in the indie-folk of the early 2000s and up to the present day.

Christoph Trummer reads, tells stories, sings and plays guitar, accompanied by singer and multi-instrumentalist Annina Mossoni.

Christoph Trummer has already combined music and literature in his CD books *Heldelieder* and *Familienalbum* – and has also woven both together in a grand narrative on stage. Now, his first novel, *St. Brooklyn*, will be published by AKI Verlag in August 2026.

“This novel is about love, art, and inner growth, yet it remains so true to life, as if it were about all of us. The characters are heroes with worries, weaknesses, and deep longing. Nothing is sugarcoated, and that is precisely what makes the novel so beautiful.” (Pedro Lenz)
