The idea to The Sorceress Dreaming It originated in London. It emerged in a flow of improvisation, as a whole, quite unexpectedly. It seemed like a journey, magical, coded, hypnotic. Stories about letting go, about love, the magic inherent in everything, about passion and hope, about the alchemy of creativity. The Sorceress – as an archetype, calling for wholeness and interconnectedness, like a memory of ancient wisdom buried somewhere, perhaps in the earth.
The Chilean artist, who grew up in Switzerland and was formerly known as Linah Rocio, is reinventing herself, influenced by her time in England, a magical and mysterious island that brought her closer to herself. Her way of seeing the world, of feeling how everything is connected, was her goal, expressed in the song. The Sorceress Dreaming As a guide, her voice, mysterious and supportive, sometimes whispering or breathing, draws you into her world.
