With their new album, Pieces of Reality, Jon Hood presents their hybrid sound, blending influences from post-rock, indie, and electronic music. Jon Hood creates a sound with layered guitar tones, driving rhythms, and atmospheric details. Their music strikes a balance between raw intensity and space and nuance, creating something powerful and captivating. The follow-up to their acclaimed debut album, "Bodysemantics," will be released in early 2026 on Oh, Sister RecordsAt times hymnic and electronic, at times driving and danceable, the songs are unmistakably influenced by singer Joan's Latin American heritage. On stage, the quartet breaks with conventions and transforms its songs into a captivating live show. The band combines a wealth of experience, with members also playing in bands such as Alois, Mnevis, and Dadalus & Bikarus.
